Pros

Decent pay Easy hiring process

Cons

- Training is a joke. - "We're like a family" - They value their company culture, which is unsupportive and toxic. - They will tell you if you do something wrong, but won't help you do better. - No room for advancement - Managers are clueless - Employees are forced to use their vacation days if they're sick. No separate sick days.

Pros

Map Your Show provided a competitive salary.

Cons

Remote employees are at a severe disadvantage if they weren't a part of the original 'core' company structure in Ohio. There are clear cliques in the company, and if you are not in office you do not have a chance to be factored into them. The communication from direct managers and higher level managers is abysmal. It is almost impossible to build any meaningful product if you are working on a team that wasn't a part of the AI push. There were no 1 on 1's with managers, no quarterly or yearly reviews, and the bonus structure was negligible if you weren't vested. The healthcare benefits were on par with about any other company, but there were no other employee benefits to speak of if you were remote. There are only 7 company holidays recognized throughout the year. Clear mis-management in several teams. Managers openly talked about employees that had put in 2-week notices with disdain, and would bad mouth them in team meetings to others. I was hired with a promise that they were growing the team. They said that I would be able to lead future team members and build a product from the ground up. None of which came to fruition - they lose employees almost on a weekly basis. Do not believe the pitch that they have excellent retention due to being a good place to work at. If you are remote, stay away from this company. If you live in Cincinnati, be prepared to navigate the politics, and always keep your skills fresh and options open. The company does not have loyalty towards their employees.
