Salary was nice and employer was very flexible

When it was The Marathon Bank, it was the people at the branches, well most of them. It was the small town feel of a local bank.

The downsides that I found was in some of the management. One of the situations that a few ruin it for the majority. Unfortunately, management, both on the branch level and slightly higher, worked to figure out ways not to work. That unfortunately left it for the rest of the management team as well as branch employees to pick up the slack. Very unfortunate for a decent company to get run down due to the lack of efforts made by people that were in the wrong positions and had no business managing people. They have since been bought by United Bank, which is much worse of a situation with their out of date system. Still the same crew in management doing the same old thing, or lack there of.
