Small family owned company, if you coming from a big corporation there might be some adjusting, however I don't see it as a negative thing.

Pay is above industry average

I don't know how the owner and his son sleep at night. The only person who is safe from the owner's hostility and lack of emotional stability is his son, who also has no control over his emotions. The owner will say he trusts you and let you go free, only to take it back five minutes later and control everything you do, micromanage you, and even goes as far as to IGNORE you when he is mad at you (for what reason, you don't know). It starts with him not answering phone calls, then not returning calls, responding to text messages, or even email. His lack of communication inhibits employees from completing tasks, but then blames employees when things don't get done. Him and his son are conceited, rude, and hostile employers to work for and I would not recommend working for them to anyone. Even desperate job seekers.
