Pros
The team are so welcoming and friendly. My favourite part about working at MM were the people as they were always very supportive. There was a daily briefing called a scrum which as a team always helped us to know what we were working with on a daily basis. This also gave us an opportunity to ask for help or support on anything we might’ve been struggling with. When you have a tight deadline everyone in the company chips in and is happy to help. You never feel alone in this job as someone is always there to answer your questions. There is always plenty of work to keep you busy. You gain so many skills working at this company across a variety of different data mining and analysis tools. The presentation skills that you pick up in this job are unlike any other jobs. Not only in structure and formatting from excel through to PowerPoint but also over the phone and in person client facing. Amazing socials including both a summer and winter social. Whilst I was working at MM socials included 2 Christmas socials with 3 course meals and activities and my personal favourite an incredible safari and over night Zoo stay in the summer as a reward for all of our hard work. We also had a mid year social and all went to the theatre together which was lovely. A very sociable company. Often the office manager would organise drinks/ dinner together or a bowling outing on a Friday which was great fun especially after a hard working week at work! Plenty of opportunities for self progression in this job. If you work hard and prove your worth to management then you will do well.
Cons
Learning on the job. Whilst this is great sometimes I felt there could be more focus on training than bill-ability however when I left the company they were already putting this at the forefront of their work ethic going forward into 2020 which is fantastic!
