Pros

There are opportunities to speak directly with partners and ask questions. Guidance and mentorship are also provided, but only if you specifically seek it out. There are also great bonus incentives.

Cons

There is not a lot of work-life balance and the partners can be very demanding. It sometimes feels like partners have forgotton what it was like to be an associate, and expect a newer attorney to work as if they have been in the field for 30+ years.

Pros

Sadly there is NOTHING positive about this place.

Cons

This firm is a modern day plantation. Their views are from the 1950’s and they don’t respect their workers, they don’t trust their workers. There is no bereavement time, no snow days and if the city team wins a championship and there’s no Septa running, you must use PTO for all of these things. Not a surprise when this firm didn’t close at all for COVID and if you didn’t come in, you had to use PTO. They are always hiring because people are always leaving. They don’t pay enough for anyone to put up with this nonsense. There’s 100000+ other law firms in America, go work there. They will continue to lose good employees because their 80yr old managing partner refuses to retire because he is toxic, controlling and has never changed his mindset since the 50’s. Please do yourself a favor and find a firm that will appreciate you, be kind to you and work with you.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re genuinely disappointed to hear that this has been your impression as a current member of our team. While we respectfully disagree with the characterization of our culture and values, we take all employee concerns seriously. Our HR Department remains fully available to support team members and address any concerns confidentially and constructively. We encourage you to reach out directly to HR or a member of our leadership team if you would like to discuss your concerns in more detail. We’re proud that our firm is experiencing significant growth—growth that’s being driven by the strength, dedication, and talent of our workforce. While it may appear that we are “always hiring,” that activity reflects expansion and opportunity, not high turnover. In fact, many of our team members have advanced and grown their careers within the firm as a result of our evolving structure and increased client demand. As part of our commitment to maintaining a supportive and professional workplace, we continue to invest in our people and adapt our policies to meet the needs of the team. During the COVID-19 pandemic, for example, we ensured that all full-time employees remained fully paid and continued to receive their benefits throughout months of government-mandated office closures—something we remain proud of to this day. Regarding leadership, we are actively engaged in a thoughtful and strategic transition. A new Managing Partner has recently been appointed and is working in close collaboration with the current Managing Partner. This deliberate process reflects our ongoing commitment to continuity, modernization, and long-term success. We remain focused on fostering a collaborative, respectful, and forward-thinking environment, and we truly value constructive feedback from our team members as we continue to grow and evolve.
