Pros
Following a senior pastor transition in 2018 and COVID, we have experienced tremendous growth. It was a challenging time for many of our team members, but has led to multiple new congregations being planted. This has really expedited the need for development and created the most opportunities for internal promotion and improved training to support our personal growth and leadership of others. Leadership has a high view of volunteer leaders and ministerial staff serving to equip our people--if you can't work through volunteers, it'll be tough.
Cons
We are experiencing the growing pains of becoming multi-site, but we have wonderfully talented team members who are helping us navigate. It is also a tension of pastoral work while being organizational savvy--which can create some real pain points if you are not well balanced.
