Pros

- Entrepreneurial environment - smaller independently-owned company environment enables employees to take on additional responsibility and experiment with new strategies - Strong work-life balance: employees not expected to work outside of 9-5 shift

Cons

- Poor management - lack of unified vision among senior leadership team - Decisions are not made based on business principles - senior leadership often take decisions from strictly personal perspectives without team input/supporting data - Multiple people were dismissed without valid reason / based on personal likeability among senior management - Lack of position growth and salary increase opportunity - Poor HR/culture/company values - difficult to enact change within the company (HR/management are the opposite of "employee-first", very old-school "bare minimum" HR - minimal benefits, no flex work hours, challenging to take time off for essential appointments, employees forced to work in office during the CO-19 pandemic) - Inconveniently located office (Villeray/Chabanel)
