Pros
Decent work life balance. Good benefit options, PTO on par with most other comparable employers. Pay was decent for the work, but not particularly in line with other employers in comparable positions. Overtime offered often for hourly employees, but only due to ever increasing workloads.
Cons
Nepotism is the biggest complaint here. People with far more experience are overlooked for the people who “knew” someone. If you are part of the “in” crowd you’ll have it made, regardless of your actual performance. Middle management are generally just “yes men”. Management is unappreciative when going “above and beyond” and your good deeds are quickly forgotten when you make tiny errors. Work load was mostly insurmountable. Instead of hiring new employees they would ask their overworked employees to produce more. Bonus structure was decent, but is tied to unrealistic growth percentages, making full payouts extremely hard to attain. On the Job training is trial by fire due to the workload being so high. Workplace morale was generally low.
