Pros
I'm two months into my position at Marketing Doctor and am consistently blown away by everyone here. I don't see any weak links. I'm learning a huge amount every day. My co-workers, manager, and higher-ups have all taken time to check in with me one-on-one regularly. It's a fast-paced environment that can be stressful at times, but coming from non-profit where the fires were real people's lives and fires....it feels energizing. Good stress; the kind that keeps you on your toes, learning, and growing. This is largely good stress because there's a priority placed on not working overtime, and not being available to work calls/emails after-hours. The best is that it's backed up by a real team effort to provide excellent results for clients , results I see on every account. Lots of pride in that. I see leadership being genuinely open to constructive criticism, and working actively to address, adapt, improve, and become aware of themselves. This behavior from leadership is inspiring and allows for imperfection, creative problem solving, increased accountability, and larger growth potential for individual employees along with the agency as a whole. Lots of integrity, in how employees deal with each other and with clients.
Cons
I've had trouble adapting to an open office with my limited task time, but have been encouraged to use specific closed-door spaces and mark my calendar off as focus time to avoid interruptions, which has worked great.
I'd like to speak more about benefits, which are amazing, and I will be open to receiving in another 30 days, can't wait!
