Pros

Brand presence and an annual day celebration

Cons

Micromanagement & Infrastructure: The company operates on a micro-monitored, rigid attendance system requiring 8 hours of net "active" desk time (excluding idle time), mimicking a strict BPO environment rather than a modern corporate office. Outdated Tooling & Tech Stack: There is a severe lack of industry-standard enablement or sales tools. The systems used for CRM and Data Management are built entirely in-house, are highly fragmented, and do not integrate or communicate with one another, creating massive operational friction. Toxic Leadership & Culture: The internal culture is intensely hierarchical and orthodox. Leadership and management frequently exhibit a lack of basic corporate decency, professional etiquette, and respect toward junior employees. Admin staff regularly create a loud, hostile environment on the floor. HR & Policy Gaps: HR operates primarily as a transactional processing function ("hire and fire") rather than an employee support system. Important company policies, performance expectations, and leaf structure details are deliberately withheld until after onboarding. Restrictive Leave Policy: Leaves are strictly limited to a slow accumulation of 1.75 days per month, leaving new joiners with virtually zero safety net during their first few months if they fall sick or simply need the day off. Zero Employee Engagement: Aside from a single annual day event, there are no team-building activities, office outings, or professional enablement/learning sessions.

Pros

MarketsandMarkets has a unique value proposition

Cons

1) Complete lack of vision by Sandeep Sugla, Founder. Myopic focus on sales above all, does not value quality of data or consulting deliverables. 2) Does not listen to customers - MarketsandMarkets prioritizes google search terms to inform their research roadmap, vs what clients actually want. The syndicated research goals are opposed to the goals and needs of the advisory teams. 3) Executive team lies. MarketsandMarkets will outright lie about the company's structure, performance, and ways of working to recruit you. None of what they tell you is true. Do not work here if you are in the USA, as they use their India HQ to shield themselves from legal action. 4) Dysfunctional. When clients provide negative feedback, MarketsandMarkets responds harshly - to the client! Tells them they're wrong (even though most of the time the client is right), doesn't fix errors. 5) Poor data quality. MarketsandMarkets reports are sometimes off regarding its forecast data, jeopardizing client decisions. 6) The HR team that responds to these reviews does not care - they know very well how the company operates - do not engage them, as they will use it to find out who you are.
