      Pros

      It was nice having holidays off and decent breaks. The 8-4 schedule is great and you get time off in the summer as well as only working M-Th.

      Cons

      Horribly horribly toxic work environment. Everyone gossips and people will be so cold to you when you’re the new person. It’s so cliquey and unwelcoming which makes it harder when the job itself can be challenging as is.

      We are sorry you had this type of experience, and appreciate you bringing this to our attention – we do wish you had communicated your situation with HR while still on staff so we could have tried to intervene. We have been working with staff and leadership to elevate onboarding experiences for new staff. This not only helps with retention but gives our students the consistency in staffing they need.

      What truly sets this school apart is its heart. The dedication, patience, and creativity of the staff make every day purposeful. Seeing a student achieve a new skill or express joy in a way they couldn’t before reminds you why this work matters so much.

      Cons

      The work can be demanding at times, but it’s deeply fulfilling.
