MarksNelson Response
8yThank you for the compliment. I work hard to keep a good culture in the firm. It is important to me that our professionals keep a positive work / life balance and that the number of hours worked are reasonable for our industry.
Looking at salary information online can sometimes be misleading. We find that many times job titles and responsibilities from the survey do not align with MarksNelson’s. Additionally, it is important to take geography into consideration. We are always looking at surveys and comparables from the LEA firms that are closest to us when determining our base salary structure.
As a growing company, it is necessary that we re-invest in the firm – we are continually expanding the services we provide, adding additional space, investing in technology, etc. It is important for us to keep up with the pace of change.
2016 was a very successful year for the firm and that is exactly the reason that we provided team bonuses to each staff member. It was important to the partners that we reward each person who helped us to accomplish our goal.
Our culture and myself promote an open door policy and I am always happy to address your questions / comments in person if you so desire.
