Pros

While I have been associated with Marlabs since more than 4 years. I feel the following are pros: 1. Work Culture/Environment 2. Decent Leaves (6 SL, 6 CL and 1.25 EL /month) 3. Depending on Team you will have a work life balance (depending on you and your manager) 4. You will get recognised for your good work.

Cons

Following I think are the cons: 1. The HR team need to work better on their communication 2. There need to be clear direction from the Leadership Team (Sometimes there are too much changes in decisions) 3. Salary hikes should get standardised and should be discussed with their respective managers. 4. Delivery team sometimes should put their foot down with the customers instead of agreeing with everything.

Pros

Marlabs have indeed placed me with their client that had a need for my skills. I did find the my interlocutor recruiter to be a pleasant person. The contract stipulated payments at 30 days after customer signed my timesheet for each month of work.

Cons

1. The company was late by at least three weeks to complete negotiations with the customer about my pay rate before I could start and it was difficult to get any information on the process even though I was told the customer authorized to hire me. 2. I did not have wisdom and/or option to include penalty clause into the contract for unreasonably delayed payments. 3. The first two payments were delayed and overdue by 4-3 weeks each. 4. Once my contract was completed and terminated after 6.5 months, my 5ths payment was overdue by 5 weeks. My 6ths is overdue by 5 weeks now even though I was assured it should have been released last week and would have been 4 weeks overdue. My 7th and final payment "should be processed soon after" in the words of my recruiter, but I have no based for any confidence I will get my two final payments.
