      Pros

      Marriott was my very first hotel, so It has a special place in my heart. I enjoyed the inter-departmental training, associates and prestige of the location.

      Cons

      Worked long hours with little vacation time. Also, constantly being passed over for promotions. Hourly associates valued more than managers.

      Pros

      Large building with many great people you will work alongside and who are very helpful.

      Cons

      Differences of treatment between workers with the hotel and contracted workers felt wrong. Paid hourly but was expected to respond to emails and calls outside of working hours on occasion. Unrealistic expectations from management regarding reviews given the state of the rooms and facilities.
