Pros

Good product in good locations allowed for good networking with fellow associates and helped get access to customers. We competed but we also helped each other when needed. The sales associates really tried to help each other when possible

Cons

Feels like it stopped being run by hoteliers and now run by number crunchers, HR-folk and legal departments. Hospitality doesn't feel like the #1 objective - now it's sales, flow-through and stakeholder/shareholder satisfaction before guest satisfaction.

Pros

Great Benefits. You can see the company makes a real effort to take care of their employees.

Cons

The expectations of hours worked are very high. 50 hours a week is the minimum, the reality is you will be at the property a lot longer each day.

Pros

Department is great! Hours are flexible with respect to workload. Career growth at the company is outstanding as long as you show dedication and commitment to the role.

Cons

"Full time" hourly employees face cuts during off seasons which makes the job posting information about full time hours unclear and is only addressed after the hiring process concludes during orientation and is not highlighted and often quickly discussed to stream light on the perks that do not calculate the negative impact on the factors left out after the fact.
