Pros
Bonus...well that went from 25% down to max of 8%...now its based upon group performance although your calls are are also graded but on an individual basis. Have lots of third parties...helping yeah right...delloitte, conduit and one other who will blind transfer calls to you throughout the day. Only have to speak with your manager once a week if you are lucky maybe once in 3 weeks. Easy to achieve goals if you are okay with being cussed out daily over minor hotel issues and management not following the example they hold you to daily. New general manager has been refreshing. however the rest of the great leaders are gone sorry to share. Jose the ops manager, Tashima ops manager who was quickly promoted both were great. Weekly pay, opportunity for overtime. insurance is fair not cheap...for individual its $60 a week, family is too expensive. Annual company event is okay food is hit or miss.
Cons
Location changed from south wichita to north east wichita. Was one floor now it is two floors. Air conditioning broke on brand new 'state of art building' still often bathroom issues. Managment thinks the way to employees hearts are free company luggage bags, insulated travel mugs, and monogramed blankets....instead of acting with integrity. How about the ceo cappuanos salary but you cut our bonus. annual raises less than $1 an hour now not really worth staying with the company. Lower departments with less time with company receive higher raise than someone with a higher base pay in this department elite/sr services. Applied for multiple positions within time at company over 4 years. Only allowed to do a task force for 3 months, and one of them was just training alone. Never given interview opportunities for positions I was qualified and applied for internally. Direct manager would not look me in the eye when talking with him or acknowledge in parking lot. Weak leadership all with some type of back story. Prizes given are taxed heavily and often not wanted when a monitory value would be preferred. They have been known to overpay you then later take it back...not great at timekeeping. Look up marriott lawsuits.
