Pros
Occasional tips from customers but it's not guaranteed.
Cons
They lie about pay constantly. Realistically what they won't tell you is as a NC tech you only get paid $28 for the labor of a full installation and maybe a couple extra dollars if they get more then one box. That installation may require you to bury cable, climb up a three floor ladder, drill through walls, crawl in around in their crawl space/attic and don't forget calling support to close an unclosable line item or modify a work order. I was hired as technician told my responsibilities were that of a technician but in reality we are required to sell pointless over priced items to the customers for only $4 in compensation and install said items. Last but not least in the busy season you will only get around 2-3 jobs a day. It's direct TV and we install dishes when even direct TV offers streaming through Internet which means all your cliental is aging away.
