Beware, stress and fear are not worth the pay. - Deployment Engineer Mashgin Employee Review

Pros

Majority of the team was great to work with. High paying compared to other roles that require travel.

Cons

Expectations are unrealistic to say the least. Consistent and heavy micro management caused fear, panic, and a lot of pressure. Favoritism is very present and very blatant. Training was non existent and asking for help of any kind with something you had never been shown before, or were never told would even be apart of the job, was met with negative feedback. If an honest mistake was made, leadership would not provide any tools, advice, mentorship, or even hints on how you could improve, even when asking, just a bad checkmark next to your name and a cold shoulder. Work/Life Balance is very poor, 12 hour days, traveling on days off.

Pros

The culture at Mashgin is one of the best I’ve experienced. The team is collaborative, positive, and always willing to help. Leadership is approachable and open to new ideas if you take the initiative to reach out. I started as a Deployment Engineer, and through every project and deployment, I’ve never felt alone. The work is meaningful, and it’s rewarding to see the direct impact our technology has on clients. As a team lead now, I can tell you career growth is real here if you’re willing to put in the effort!

Cons

Fast growth means processes are still evolving, but it creates chances to shape how things are done.
