Pros
-Fantastic, knowledgable, and supportive leadership -Weekly professional development to help workers develop skills/learn about different adjacent career paths -Experience working with neurodivergent kids is really valuable -Consistent Supervision to help with areas of growth and support Group Leaders/Assistant Group Leaders -Fun activities and getting to be outdoors -Extensive training before camp -Encouragement of staff bonding
Cons
All of my cons are natural aspects of the job, there is nothing management could change to make this job better :) -Being outside in rain and heat can be difficult at times -Lunch is had with campers (this is to be expected) -Site is not reachable by public transit (however the site managers coordinate a carpool form for those in need of a ride or those willing to provide a ride
