Pros

Good Pay / Remote opportunities / Upper management is clueless and you will most likely know more than them.

Cons

Upper management is clueless, and you will most likely know more than them if you know anything about your profession. Changed to a new bonus system where there are modifiers such as "exceeds expectations" yet the mantra there is that nobody gets “exceeds expectations” in the yearly review. So basically it’s just a phantom goal that employees can try to achieve but will never be given. People are hired with ZERO skills for the job they are hired for... for example, a senior manager of left handed monkey wrenches.. you would expect said person to be an expert in left handed monkey wrenches and then you find out they have no experience whatsoever, but they were a good "fit". What a joke, especially since they are paid the same as you. A SOX auditor would have an absolutely grand time here - so many violations. Finance people are not proficient. HR people are not proficient. No documented policies, or if they exist, they are so vague as to be worthless. IT group is a maze. The whole place is a massive rubiks cube with locations all over the country in bizarrely remote locations and an every-man-for-himself mentality.

Pros

Remote Work Good work/life balance 401k Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance 15 Days of PTO to start

Cons

Marketing department is extremely unorganized and there is virtually no culture. No way to engage with one another and network and no one is interested in networking when you try. Not a good place to try and start your career and make meaningful connections. Managers are often confused and do not actually want to help their team learn and grow making it difficult to find meaning or direction in the work you are doing.
