1. Contractors, consultants, trades, marketing/advertising contractors and sales reps, are rarely paid on time... If at all. 2. Matas homes has an extremely high turnover. They are constantly hiring on new contractors, sales reps etc, when the former finally refuses to continue on until they are paid. 3. They are very dishonest and will ignore repeated requests for payments owed for work completed as per contract. Matas will start to ignore phone calls and all contact if they choose. 4. The owner John Matas will forgo paying money earned to contract employees while he lives in a large home in Glen Abbey and sends his son to Appleby college where tuition ranges from $33.000-$41,000! He will claim to be without funds while living a life of luxury. 5. He will make up blatant lies about why a consultant/contractor was not paid on time and will constantly change his story.
