Pros

1) Free time to learn new skills 2) Flexibility to choose projects under different teams

Cons

For EDG - 1) You need to engage in Customer support for at least a week per month - which is annoying as you have to pick cases that might be from areas that do not interest you 2) No cutting-edge work done in CS areas (in HYD office) 3) EDG managers are clueless about the technology domains 4) You will need to do non-sensical things like conduct workshops, fests and self-healing sessions (all in the name of "overall development") Do not get into EDG if you have a Masters in CS or related fields , it is a waste of time.

Pros

The company places a strong emphasis on continuous learning and professional growth, with clear encouragement for employees to develop their skills over time. There are frequent, fun company events that help build connections across teams and contribute to a genuinely friendly and collaborative culture. Overall, the organization takes a very staff-focused approach, prioritizing employee well-being and fostering an environment where people feel supported and valued.

Cons

With a globally distributed workforce, it can sometimes be challenging to coordinate schedules or connect in person with colleagues.

Pros

Strong work-life balance; reasonable hours and low burnout Smart, helpful colleagues and collaborative culture Stable company with solid products (MATLAB/Simulink) Good benefits and campus perks (food, gym, etc.)

Cons

Development pace can feel slow and process-heavy May not be ideal if you’re optimizing for fast career growth, cutting-edge tech, or top-tier compensation.
