There are so many cons to list here including:
1) Extremely poor leadership. Managers routinely lie about almost everything. In addition, they are poor planners and really do not have a handle on the big picture. In addition, there seemed to be a reorganization every 5 minutes. So, your line manager was constantly changing.
2) Management is basically abusive; mistreating employees by insisting they work more than 8 hours a day and more than 40 hours a week with no extra compensation at the same time they say #happinessmatters supposedly espousing a work/life balance.
3) Absolutely zero opportunities for professional growth. Instead of promoting from within they hire from outside and insert more levels of management over associates who do all the work.
4) Some individuals do all the work while others just pile the work on them without any knowledge of how the software even works.
5) Compensation is a joke; they certainly do not offer competitive salaries.
6) This is an extremely homogeneous workforce. There is almost nobody of color in any management position. In addition, there are very few people of color who work there period. The annual conference was almost entirely run by white males.
7) It is a very clique-oriented place to work. Many individuals get jobs because of who they know rather than what they know. If you are not a member of their clique good luck competing for promotions and compensation packages against peers who just happen to be best friends with the manager. This happened in multiple departments.
