Pros
While I don't have many good things to say about Mavis, I will say that the company is very diverse and that the HR and onboarding processes are generally well-run.
Cons
Compensation is 100% inverse to performance at Mavis and the company does not verify immigration status or criminal record. Management are typically incompetent undesirables who either never figure out what's happening at the garages or don't care. The company is constantly being taken to small claims court and the communities retaliate - i.e., I had to set up a microwave and coffee machine at my garage because the techs were being poisoned at every restaurant in the immediate vicinity. In a manager or assistant manager role, as I was, it is actually dangerous to fix anything related to this problem if you want to keep your job, as the techs will get together and lie about everything to HR. This is what happened to me, and I was fired with the excuse that I was "threatening employees". But, nobody in HR ever dared put anything in writing about that. I actually tried to sue for wrongful termination, but couldn't find a lawyer who was even willing to talk to me. Nor could I get unemployment. The company's that deep in with organized crime.
