There are many perks and benefits to working for Mavis Discount Tire. One of the most inspiring benefits is that there is no specific timeframe to when you can be promoted. Your career is in your own hands here at Mavis. Your growth potential is unlimited if you are talented and can produce a positive result for you and your team. Many companies I’ve worked for in the past put a timeframe and have seniority based on time with the company. While time is a value here at Mavis, it is not the end all be all in making decisions that result in your job promotion. This company is also very different in that it is focused on ensuring its people get paid and are making money. In our system, which is base pay + weekly incentive bonus, if you are not making money the company takes notice. Mavis will then put focus on ensuring that you are set up to succeed and make money in their bonus friendly system. Most companies look for ways to make sure you don’t get paid or don’t make as much as you should. This is not the case at Mavis. Four years ago I took a chance and a leap of faith in leaving my cushy job to further my career in order to grow. Cons
The only con is that I didn’t find Mavis earlier on in my career. For years I wasted time with other automotive companies, both corporate and franchise automotive retailers. None of them matched up to Mavis, and I’m better off for it.
