Pros
The Sales VP is incredibly talented, passionate, and a strong leader. She is the clear bright spot in an otherwise unstable organization. Most of the individual team members were friendly and the idea behind the business could have potential with proper management. Free lunch on Wednesdays.
Cons
There was no onboarding, no training, and no clear direction from leadership. The goals and expectations for my role changed constantly and were never defined in a meaningful way. I came in enthusiastic and eager to contribute, but I was never given a fair chance to prove myself before being let go. The company is extremely disorganized and poorly managed. The current model of promising retailers no returns and absorbing the returned inventory themselves is financially unsustainable and causes them to lose money daily. The sales team operates in a high-pressure, numbers-driven environment with extremely high turnover. The entire team is disengaged and are simply watching the clock and waiting for the day to end.
