Pros

no pros at this postion

Cons

Call ratios are ridiculous. If you are in the bilingual cue you must stay in the bilingual position throughout your career with maxinus So you must be promoted as bilingual or you don't move on. The managers are condicending when they have a conversation with you. The changes to processes and procedures are constant and considering the call volume time is not provided to review the changes.

Pros

Had a few really exceptional coworkers

Cons

One reason I was hired was to bring in new ideas and work approaches; however, when I tried implementing anything new, some of the “old school higher-ups” would balk and were never open to anything new or better. My management just looked the other way and didn’t support me. As for training, I wasn’t offered much in the way of onboarding other than being told to read a lengthy “standard operating procedures” document. No real opportunities were offered to shadow anyone so I could learn in real-time. A typical work week was 60+ hours and often stretched to 70+. It was exhausting and demoralizing. The job was not sustainable and I’ve never been more relieved to be done with a place. I cannot recommend Maximus as a place to grow your skills or to give your time. Turnover seems to be relatively high at Maximus and there are far better places to work.
