Great place - Software Engineer Maxus33 Employee Review

There are no pros to working here.

They lied about health insurance. In the offer letter I got for the Software Developer position they said they offered health insurance but when I started working there the only mention of health insurance is in the Employee Handbook which states that Maxus33 reserves the right to not offer health insurance if they choose not to. Management is horrible. Whenever I didn't know something, I was threatened with, "If you can't figure it out, I'll find someone who can." Also if you found a solution to a problem and it didn't abide by management's idea of what the solution should be it was considered a "workaround" and deemed not good enough. Management also fires people without warning. In the handbook, it states that every employee gets 3 verbal and one written before being fired. This is only true when it suits them. They will fire people without giving adequate warning or notice. What's worse is that people who leave the company (both willing and unwilling) don't get paid their last paycheck. On top of all of this they have refused to pay me for the last two weeks of work I did for them. They only paid me for the PTO that I had saved up. This is not a financially safe place to work.
