Pros
The people are nice, friendly which makes the working environment great. Benefits such as mobile, but very low, many days of annual leave but not in comparison to other banks, there’s 2 weeks marriage leave as well if you’re getting married. 2 days of family care leave if not entitled to child care leave. Others such as flexi money, which is okay not substantial.
Cons
Terrible at staff retention, does not remunerate loyal staff with expected increments. Expects staff to take on higher positions and responsibilities for months before giving them official promotion. Lower management has poor skills in managing staff, systems all very backward, backend staff very unwilling to assist with change. Junior staff are paid more than senior due to “past experience” = age, which leads to junior staff not promoting even though they do the same amount of work. Medical not covered: part of flexi money which is a few hundred if you’re an executive. (Which is not comparable to industry (bank & FIs) standard)
