      Pros

      The University has a broadly collegial atmosphere. Growing student numbers mean that there should be room for service development and career prospects.

      Cons

      Recruitment is still tightly controlled. Quite a number of staff on precarious short term contracts. Job security is low as is morale in quite a number of departments.

      I had great colleagues and good support from management. I also had access to great training opportunities.
