Cons
Senior Account Directors, Project Directors, and above in the advertising department are the worst - entirely focused on their own promotion. The environment is toxic, with no regard for work-life balance. They are quick to claim credit for the junior team’s hard work, using it for their own advancement. However, no one questions why, if they are so efficient, they have failed to win any new business, only managing to retain existing clients. Senior management remains oblivious. Additionally, some teams provide no training for new joiners, who are expected to perform from their very first week. I see many of them struggling, yet the client lead shows no concern. Attempts to engage with HR are met with silence, with no action taken to address the high attrition rate. The organisation is rife with politics and toxicity.
