Pros

Good Benefits package, some nice co-workers

Cons

Decadent, in-your-face godless culture obsessed with sex and gender, allows limitless male bashing and targets women who aren’t ok with that. My female group leader was very cliquey and divisive but it’s clear the women who least embody the core values and behave obnoxiously are valued most - not hard workers and team players. There is no one who you can turn to in these situations and you have no voice. DEI rules and HR is their enforcer. Regional manager blows hot air about employee ownership - is a very negative person and a troublemaker. Lots of nepotism and politics too.

Pros

Great company culture, exposure to some amazing projects, project teams are fantastic, camaraderie with your team, great resources and onboarding to ensure you learn to do your job well. ESOP and bonuses are great.. if you stick it out long enough.

Cons

Pay is not as competitive as other GC's, you can be relatively underpaid as they rely too heavily on preaching about the ESOP (which takes you 5 years to even be fully vested). Can be very political and leadership kinda plays favorites, some people who dont deserve it get promoted quick and others who do deserve it never get promoted. Long work hours and depending on the jobsite it can be pretty high-stress (but thats just construction for ya).
