Corrupt corporate health care - Behavioral Health Technician Mccallum Place Employee Review

Behavioral Health Technician - Saint Louis, MO As a mental health professional I would not recommend McCallum place to clients for treatment, not would I recommend working here. McCallum place is the epitome of everything wrong with mental health care. They only care about money and penny pinch the clients. They pay their employees next to nothing and do not properly support them. Ironically, they damage the mental health of their employees to the breaking point. Not to mention they don't give their employees breaks or opportunities to eat when they need to. Employees are expected to sacrifice everything to the company and "leadership." Their CEO is unprofessional. The managers are verbally abusive. They call themselves leadership, but I've never seen any leading. They have sexist practices and commit microagressions. They are petty and write up their employees for personal disagreements rather than actual problems. Management encourages employees to spy on one another and get involved in personal communications between employees. Problematic and incompetent employees are kept on while those who try to make improvements are punished for stepping out of line. The quality of care is a joke for the clients. There's no continuity of care. The food makes everyone sick and is kept in the warmers for 6 hours before its served.
