Work environment is focused, not much work outside of typical hours. Good insurance options and 401k contribution. Interesting projects.

Communication has improved over my time here, but can be better.

They value design, still designing while in construction documents. Most people that work there are friendly, they used to do free Friday lunches every week and happy hour every month to try to have everyone together. Parking is provided in a nearby parking lot. As with any other small company, there will be many hats for you to wear and learn. Mainly technical skills.

The design direction is based solely on the principals and their personal styles, not necessarily what is best for the situation or client. Inefficient business model, still designing during very late stages. Office working space is extremely off putting: dark, damp, roaches. Principals are not the most friendly. Little to no mentorship or career development system. No bonuses or reviews on your performance.
