New ownership, not getting paid on scheduled paydays, always reactive and not proactive. When I started working here I was excited due to being a unique and potentially game changing protein. Now the future of the company is gone. We were bought out by Yasir Abdul, the owner of Inventel, which brought a possible future for the company after a near collapse. Within months of the purchase we started running low on different ingredients and had to pivot away from planned production because we didn’t have what we needed to safely make the product. After that, it was our paychecks being delayed starting with a couple days before being a week or more late. Without notice we started receiving calls from HR stating our positions were being eliminated “to stabilize the company”. In my opinion stabilizing a company doesn’t involve firing all staff sans a few office workers. We are nearing a week after being laid off and getting no response from the company about when we will receive our final paychecks. The few that have been paid have not been paid correct amounts and the last pay stub received was in September so we couldn’t even see if we have been taxed correctly or what the pay is for. Don’t fall for any promises they make and don’t trust the product because all of the knowledge is out of the facility.
