Pros

- Ability to work across teams with the operations side and sci comm side - Remote work keeps thing flexible - Associate director is an advocate for employees and a pleasure to work with - enjoys training those that show incentive and passion - PTO is easy to take - Projects can be interesting - Gain experience in a small medical communications company

Cons

- highly disorganized and lacks complete direction in projects - poor communication of timelines and deadlines for projects as everything is not urgent until it is and you're scrambling to get it done, which does not allow for proper time management and affects the quality of projects - lack of communication within the company on expectations of projects - leadership is inexperienced - providing clients with an inaccurate representation of what the company can handle in terms of workload, inadvertently burning employees out - no recognition for good work - no good or bad feedback provided during employment - in terms of work, expect perfection with no training, feedback, or direction (though training is promised, none is provided - sink or swim methodology) - highly unprofessional work environment and rude upper management - astonishingly high turnover rate - owner is unaware of the structure within their own company (when asked about the bad reviews - was told they are disgruntled employees unwilling to take accountability)
