In 2019 we launched the career framework to help our employees have an understanding for what growth can look like at MedVet. Each person looks at growth differently, so this framework helps to consider moves from specialization to specialization as skills are gained vs development into leadership and management opportunities, or even transitioning from clinical services into support services. We encourage you to schedule time to meet with your manager and share your concerns and feedback in more detail so we can continue to help improve the employee experience.

      Pros

      The staff at the Commerce MedVet have been very supportive and helpful with teaching me the skills I was previously lacking. I got my first feline jugular blood draw and I was also given great tips about IV catheter placement.

      Cons

      I have no cons, the staff are very welcoming and if you want to learn they want to teach.

      Pros

      Everyone is super friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Ability to give the best care to all animals walking through the doors. Feeling like I am making a difference in Veterinary Medicine. Never a dull moment.

      Cons

      Can be overwhelming If you do not like fast paced environments, it may not be the best job for you.
