Pros
The in-depth training and the time that that is invested for each employee is unlike any other job I have ever had. My previous career had absolutely nothing to do with Healthcare or IT Staffing, yet I was able to incorporate my hospitality management knowledge and excel throughout the extensive training. Beyond the brain power, the culture is what really sets Medasource apart from any other job I've ever had. Upper Management is constantly encouraging and truly believes in your success, even when you don't. We work off of Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) but are not reprimanded if we have an unsuccessful week. Medasource is continuing to grow and so are the opportunities to obtain a leadership role. Constant growth means obtaining a leadership role well before 5-10 years. It is not just about successful numbers- it is a true family that is close knit and want what is the absolute best for you.
Cons
As someone who had a career prior to Medasource, the base salary is not ideal living on the East Coast. However, with the opportunity of uncapped commission, there has to be some kind of balance. This job can sometimes be based on pure luck and timing. But if you trust your leadership team, work hard and stick to your KPI's, the success will eventually follow. If you have the financial means and the drive to find success, then it's worth sticking around.
