Pros

Great list of clients that would make anyone working in this industry interested in joining. Some of Malaysia's best Technology talents, from Android and iOS developers to back-end developers. Employees who stay at the company tend to stay for a very long time, making the staff turn-over very low, and creating a stable work environment. They have won many awards in the past.

Cons

Owner is no longer engaged and interested in future of the organisation, often gone for days or weeks on end, while remaining a key figure in the decision making process - and being absent when required to make those decisions. There is no support or driving vision from upper management, employees are expected to create their own motivation and direction - fair enough, however: This creates a real sense of "doing your job", rather than "following your passion" or "creating with value for the client". The company culture needs a reboot, and has gotten caught in a very unambitious cycle of repetitive task completion, focusing entirely on the operational skill set, with no value given to creative process. This can be visually represented by the lack of awards in recent years, and the decline of projects from their longest serving clients. There are no bonus or incentives other than "what the owner gives out of their own heart", this is not means in which to motivate staff for achieving greatness. But rather an egotistical approach to a personal view on how generous one is. A general lack of direction can be felt in the very beginning, when your job scope is not clearly defined, and there are not set/measurable KPIs. In fact, you are to keep on working until you make a mistake and get reprimanded. Normally by cancellation of the employment contract, or final warning reprimanding. There is a constant issue with hiring of the incorrect people (this is directly attributed to the lack of experience within the team that is responsible for hiring), leading to a high number of new hires who are fired - because of internal conflicts, culture fit issues, skills fit issues, or general negligence. The management is always seeking change to come from outside the organisation (new hires, new clients, new technology) - but they fail to see that the failings for change lie entirely with themselves. This makes it hard for them to take responsibility, contributing to the slow and eventual failure of the business.
