Pros

With the possible exception of Aquent, better at finding interesting long term gigs than other staffing agencies.

Cons

For the money they extract (in the neighborhood of 35 to 45 percent), barely anything is offered in the way of service to the people they place. You're pretty much on your own. You, as talent can easily send anywhere from 70 to 100k their way but what you get for that is taken to lunch every 18 months (maybe) and a 50 dollar gift around Christmas. No check-in calls, no visits to see how you're getting on. There is no sense of obligation to you beyond being sure that you have your timesheet in.

Pros

The people here are really great. Everyone's super supportive and just nice to be around. The CEO (and the management as well) cares a lot about the people here. He's very concerned about wellness, giving back to the local community, making sure everyone's comfortable and has what they need. Salary is fair for my experience. The benefits are good, healthcare, 401k, etc. Hours are fairly flexible as long as the work gets done. We're allowed to work remote and come into the office whenever we need to.

Cons

You have to work for 6 months before you get paid holidays/PTO. No 401k matching. Small company, but there is a bit of turnover so there was some room to grow, but not a lot if you want to lead/manage. No HR, but there haven't been any issues so far.
