Pros

Really fun engineering work. It was always a new adventure. Lots of hands-on stuff to do.

Cons

Not a stable workplace because there isn't any real income. I was part of a massive layoff that came out of nowhere. Some investors fell through and they didn't tell anyone until we got laid off on a Friday night.

Pros

I was surrounded by friendly, supportive and competent people who were intent on doing their jobs well and helping the company succeed.

Cons

There were no benefits at the time apart from provided lunches.

Pros

If you're looking for product development/engineering work at the bleeding edge of innovation, Medic.Life is a good fit. Lots of hands-on prototyping, ideation, and systems testing. The engineering team is pretty fun and healthy to work with as well

Cons

The current management is a complete mess. Lots of stick instead of carrot. They have a reasonably good vision for the company but zero respect for any of the employees (and you will feel it). It turned interesting work into an emotionally and psychologically abusive experience. You can tell they are experienced and knowledgeable in their fields but they have a complete inability to empower those they are supposed to lead and do not express a desire to invest in their employees professional development.
