Pros
Medicity has inspiring, documented examples of real patients whose health or even lives are saved by their information technology. Benefits are good, and Senior Management seems to genuinely care about making it a great place to work. A formerly adversarial culture is noticeably improving. Customer Satisfaction has skyrocketed lately due to the leadership's focused attention. Similar attention now being given to Employee Satisfaction leaves me hopeful that the same kind of improvement can be seen there as well.
Cons
A small handful of geniuses in different departments still spread toxic arrogance. They seem to be trying to improve, and their influence is fortunately becoming diluted by more cooperative voices. But that arrogance still sometimes surfaces, and when it does, progress abruptly halts on major initiatives.
