Working in Medius Health is the worst experience in my whole life. Even making any comment about this company and the three founders are wasting my life, I would like to speak out to save others. Shameek (CTO) has some academic background but knows nothing about engineering. He is so PROUD to write one function with more than 2000 lines in notepad++, and without any code version management. He has no idea what a development team should be or the working flow in development. Sammi (COO) is a quite nice girl with a big mouth (not physically) and without any professional. She is trying best to watch her clock and count how many hours you are working, and will kindly notice you (email, phone, slack) that you are missing several working hours (of course she expects you can work 7x24 hours per day for her ). She needs to gain more experience in this industry to be a COO. Abhi (CEO) is a handsome guy, just never issue salary on time, to everyone in this team. I have no idea how poor he is - most of the time new staff will not get the working equipment when they onboard, the computer, stationaries, etc. They can only hope things can be done in the next several months. And also he messed up SUPER several times, and ATO has to give him a friendly call. "No professional" is a quite nice word to describe him. They all have their own problems, but some problems are quite common: 1. No commitment - they never do what they should do but keep asking you to do it 2. Short sight - no idea what engineering is, no respect to the development team 3. No respect - treat the staff like slaves

Pros

It's hard to start a business from scratch, esp under the pressure of satisfying customers and investors. I credit the co-founders in their willingness to listen, learn and their efforts to grow a team of committed, determined collaborators. I joined because I want to contribute to doing some good in the world. That's a lofty, some might say naive or even arrogant goal, but I believe we've a chance to make a difference. It'd be foolish to think that'll be easy or without challenges.

Cons

Learning curves can be hard if you're not up for the challenge. Hitting big goals is hard. If you ARE up to the challenge it's also rewarding. You shouldn't expect the highest salary or the most perks, but that's not what it's about.
