Pros

Related from the onsite manager that I’m a good CMA

Cons

Medix staffing is absolutely disgusting. First they got all mad that we didn’t completely communicate via email. Then they verbally fired me for literally being on light duty work for an injury that happened while working for your company, and now they don’t want to supply the letter that they said they would give me. It’s like they are all trying to hide and be shady …oh wait, they already are being shady. They didn’t even try to keep my job, which is complete crap since they literally put me in an unsafe situation. It was “we will be meeting with American Oncology to discuss what is best for us (the businesses) moving forward. It was just “your workers comp is handled through your state, so we are wiping our hands of you and your work injury”. Who does that? They didn’t even try to investigate whomever sprayed oil all over the bathroom floor. They didn’t even offer a job at another clinic in a couple weeks, when I feel better. Nope, it was simply “you got hurt on the job, cannot do 100% of the complete job duties right now without accommodations, and we don’t do accommodations” so now I don’t have a job. It’s also shady business to tell me and AON that the “contract” to hire was for 90 days and then after starting suddenly SURPRISE it’s actually 6.5 months long. Worst place I have worked for to date. Then there is the fact that when I was hired, I was told my home clinic is the one less than a mile from my house. Then, I was told that I have to fill in at the valley clinic a couple times a month. Cool cool, it’s only 26 miles round trip. Then, I was told that I do not get ANY mileage reimbursement. Then, I was told I have to fill in once a week at the valley clinic. Then that was quickly changed to at least twice per week, and sometimes three times per week in the valley. Again, no mileage reimbursement. And then, suddenly was told that I have to travel to Satellite clinics… excuse me but satellite clinics were NEVER discussed. Keep in mind that is 135 miles round trip… NO MILEAGE REIMBURSEMENT!! The only way I could make a little money, was going to one of the clinics locally, before traveling to the satellite clinic. If I took my stuff home and went straight to the satellite clinic, I couldn’t even clock in until I got there!!
