Pros

Provided a job in my general field in my general

Cons

Micromanagement at its worst, project managers who don't do or know how to do their jobs, and dishonest leadership. Very little direction provided during project, Project Manager was fired for being "too nice" while his replacement was completely unprofessional, disparaged and displayed contept toward his own team with the client, was dismissive and hostile toward experienced contractors and preferred inexperienced young people to the older, career I.T. contractors. Pay was much lower than market rates for contractors, over-time was expected by the client, but at one point Project Manager eliminated overtime as a punishment for what he perceived as inadequate "productivity" by his deployment team. This is illegal. Medix H.R. and management was unreceptive to contractors who complained about mistreatment by the P.M. and fired deployment contractors for reporting issues too much. Also illegal, but Medix spun those terminations as the fault of the contractor. Reasons given? Too much push back, disrespect and inflexibility for which Medix refused to provide any detail or proof of - all lies fabricated to get away with firing someone illegally. At the best, this company should be viewed as a temporary stop-gap until your next job. At its worst, this company needs to be investigated for fraudulent and deceptive hiring and business practices.
