Pros

Great office, great location, office snacks, free lunch some Fridays, nobody is clocking your hours. Private medical insurance. Salaries 10-20% higher than med comms, which is why I joined.

Cons

Owned by a private equity firm, so no looking after employees, only goal is short term financial gain. Layoffs on a mass scale every couple of years, or when a new acquisition happens (which happens every year more or less). No job security, redundancy payouts are the legal minimum. No annual pay rise, expect 1.5-2.5% at the very most and this year there was a pay freeze, even for people who were promoted. No guarantee what bonus you will get, it is entirely up to your manager, it is not linked to your or the company's performance in any transparent way. Favoritism, politics, back stabbing all around. The expect you to travel around the world constantly for events and conferences, but will only pay economy fare sometimes not for direct flights, hotels are usually dire, you can only claim for public transport to/from airports, etc. Crazy hours, be expected to work late every night on calls to colleagues based in the US. Company wide email a month ago stating that 'you must be available to answer emails / text / calls during nights and on weekends' - that says it all.

Pros

Loved my time there. Technology is a bit slow but the brand still resonates. Brand is world renown.

Cons

Company has grown resulting in more process.

Pros

My manager was truly a great person but knew that there were no real growth opportunities.

Cons

Too many to say: Toxic culture, teams literally not doing their jobs, a complete lack of leadership and the ceo is a horrible person. The sales people are legitimately some of the dumbest people I’ve met throughout my career. They don’t have an understanding of the products at all and then get angry when you try to simply explain what the actual products are and how they function.
