Fun to work with students, and I actually personally felt like I genuinely enjoyed working with my coworkers as well.

Sometimes you do have to pick up for other people's slack, whether it's because they 've been talking too much to finish their own work or otherwise.

Friendly office staff & nice teachers. The owner likes to set aside some food and snacks for TAs and teachers when we get hungry. The responsibilities are fair: grading homework, tutoring children, cleaning the room at the end of the day.

The work load is generally easy, but grading responsibilities are not always equal. You will have the TAs with writing classes that are not responsible for any grading, while one math teacher's TA will be assigned doubled-amounts of homework for him/her to grade daily. But, you will always have your coworkers to help you out if you ever get overwhelmed. Also, the TAs that work most closely with you (upstairs vs. downstairs) as well as the manager for each floor can make or break your experience here. Your peers are mostly high school or college students who are not that experienced with working in a professional environment and sometimes let their attitudes influence their work behavior. Sometimes you will get along with these types of people and sometimes you will not.
