Pros

Team member discount. Some great co-workers, some not so good trying to win brownie points. Liked putting the CORE values in play and treating the customers the way they deserved and helped to the fullest extent - that's what keeps them coming back.

Cons

Intimidating, disrespectful, picked favorites team leader; dampened any encouragement for doing a decent job, offered no assistance to help do a better job in the time frame allotted even when asked for pointers when told not doing it the way wanted by team leader - which changed daily. If you excelled in an area and enjoyed the work, you were intentionally moved to an area you were not as familiar with. Told by team leader didn't need the required tools (cymbal, box cutter, sharpie) to do job from day one, this was crucial tools needed to the best job possible. Store director and upper management condoned this behavior towards team members stating "this team leader has their own leadership style". NEVER enough employees scheduled due to no call/no shows due to this very working environment. Fabrication of incidents is alleged of team members leading and never questioned by upper management. NO 30 or 60 day review as promised.

Great leadership and atmosphere to be a part of. The job always has something new to offer every day so it is very engaging.

Pros

Direct coworkers were great to work with. I also enjoyed being left to do my work and not babysat by management.

Cons

Management doesn't know what they are doing. Resets and floor plans were regularly not done properly. The store I worked at has a skeleton crew so I never got help (but was expected to stop everything I'm going to go help other departments/areas). Also meaning good luck to any customers needing help, especially when I was the only person working my area of the store, so when I wasn't there, no one was. Management also regularly disappeared into the offices or were on vacation. Also was terminated for reasons outside my control even though I was told they look at the reasons for attendance incidents before termination. Never got to get the FMLA or accommodation to my doctors before being terminated two days after I requested them. Didn't bother asking for a raise either. I did multiple times and got nothing.
