Pros

- Workforce is extremely motivated, energetic and always striving to do better: You will meet some really smart people here with expertise from different divisions. There is also a sense of purpose in the air, where everyone around you is working tirelessly to move the needle, which in turn motivates you to bring your best. - High growth which promotes independence & Initiative Taking: Due to Mejuri's explosive growth over the past few years, the roadmap is always evolving and growing in scope, with alot of quick wins to be harvested. Mejuri promotes the culture of taking the initiative and spearheading initiatives that add value. You will learn alot here, and your impact will be extremely direct and quick. - Compensation & Benefit plan are solid and above average relative to Toronto Tech market - Culture is vibrant and everyone is generally welcoming and supportive. - Senior Leadership is very transparent and willing to engage with the company to explain key initiatives and the rationale for some decisions. The monthly Townhall is a great example of this.

Cons

- Disconnect between Senior Leadership and workforce: The company plans alot of events workshops and off-sites, but for some reason, they are only reserved for senior leadership, with little thought poured into nurturing and investing into the more junior workforce - Lack of Accountability in terms of owning metrics: Excluding a few departments, a good chunk of the company is pretty data illiterate, with little to no ownership of key north-star metrics. Mejuri likes to pride itself on being 'Data Driven', but in reality the majority of asks are just 'curiosities' backed by no hypothesis or connection to a bigger objective. There is a huge dependency on a few people to continuously provide insights and data points, which creates a bottle-neck situation were some stakeholders now have the expectation to be 'spoon-fed' every insight and data point. - Work/Life balance is non-existent here: Due to insane timelines, initiatives happening in parallel, and leadership constantly moving the goal posts, work will bleed into late hours. - Meeting heavy culture is a thing which prevents you from getting anything done past 5pm, so you spend the better part of the afternoon working if you want to get anything done - No solid growth or career promotion plan: Feedback for improvement is pedantic and vague, with no solid plan for knowing how you can get promoted.

Hello, Thank you for providing your review and providing both your positive and constructive feedback, it is appreciated! I wanted to address a few of your comments: 1) Company events/training - This is an area we are continuing to evolve and will be looking to expand our training/development programs this year to focus on different levels of the organization. We have also rolled out Gold University which will have more training content for team members as well. 2) Specific to meetings this is an area we are continuing to focus on and challenging ourselves/employees on trying to minimize these if they are not needed. We have also implemented Notion to improve collaboration among teams as well. Thank you again for your feedback and would be happy to discuss further if you'd like to reach out to me at brandon.ram@mejuri.com. Brandon Ram Senior Director, Talent Acquisition

Pros

Discount was 40% off Jewelry is nice

Cons

No brand alignment on standards Corporate partners far out of touch with reality asking teams to change processes every other week and reprimanding teams who fall behind ZERO support with training/ gaps in knowledge Retail partners tell you to reach out with questions but ignore you and reprimand you when you ultimately fail Give your team fewer hours and ask for more operationally resources are outdated, SOPs hard to follow though they add more every day HORRIBLE upper management. No one is qualified for the positions they hold
