Pros

Throughout my career with Melaleuca I have been promoted 10 different times and have had countless opportunities to grow and develop skills that will be of benefit to me in my life. This is very empowering to me to know that there are opportunities to advance my career, and also comforting to know that this is a company that fosters an environment and a culture where personal development and career opportunities are respected. I love the fact that loyalty and hard work are not taken for granted and have a high value placed on those who go the distance with the company. I also have a great deal of respect for our management team, and the effort that they make to build relationships with their co-workers. They actually take the time to get to know me and my family, and to take an interests in how we are doing.

Cons

One of the many reason Melaleuca is successful is because of its high expectations. Along with high expectations comes stress. So if you don’t handle stress very well then you may want to look elsewhere. Also, although it’s not expected to work 50-60 hours a week there’s plenty of work to be done, and it's always worth going the extra mile.

Pros

Great to work for, the people are kind and willing to help you with any problem you run into.

Cons

They're stingy with promotions and probably won't utilize you to your fullest capacity

Pros

- side benefits are okay - it is a median sort of job - I personally have some freedom do to personal professional development on the clock when there is no immediate need for my work (happens very little) - People half listen once they know you have been at Melaleuca after about 5 years

Cons

- No management that knows what they are doing - Not very customer-focused - Don't seek to fulfill their strategic imperatives or strategies or mission - Very hard for people to listen to you because you're new - They don't have a lot of integrity - Very slow to solve problems - Don't worry about making improvements in processes or tools we use - Slow AI usage and no proficiency in AI usage, strategies or implementation - Managers micromanage because Melaleuca is "unique" - Most of the positive things they tout all the time serves only the company's image, not the employees - Don't worry about giving raises in a timely manner - Not goal-oriented employer And I could probably keep going, but will stop here.
